Meet Your Teacher.

"I believe music has the power to unlock something deep in every person.

I’ve been a student of music for over 20 years, including 10 years touring in worship bands. I have taught dozens of students how to create real music they’re proud of. I don’t just teach songs; I help students become artists: Musicians who can express themselves, read & write their own music, and grow confident in their creative voice."

Got questions?

I've got answers!

What ages do you teach?

I teach students of all ages. If someone is excited to learn, it’s never too early or too late to start.

Where are you based?

My studio is located at 15720 Artist Way Addison, Texas 75001. We can either hold lessons in my studio or I can drive to you for lessons. I have portable recording equipment that I bring along.

Do I need any prior piano experience?

Not at all! My lessons are designed for any level of student. From beginner to advanced I'll teach you the fundamentals and continue with you through your advanced music career.

Do you help students perform live?

Yes — instead of recitals, I put on fun performances where students can perform original music or covers. It's all about building confidence and showcasing creativity.

What kind of music will I learn?

Whatever songs excite you! I'll create a structured plan around your musical interest. You’ll also learn how to write your own music and develop your unique sound as an artist.

Will I learn music theory?

Yes! Chords & Progressions, Scales & Keys, Rhythm & Timing, Ear Training & Intervals, Songwriting & Improvisation just to name a few. Our program is both rigorous and fun.

How are your lessons different from traditional piano lessons?

Most piano lessons focus on dry exercises and uninspiring songs. No wonder so many kids lose interest. My lessons are different. I challenge students to be creative and grow into confident performing artists who actually love making music.

What gear or equipment do I need at home?

A keyboard or piano with at least 61 keys is ideal. My studio is equipped with instruments and recording equipment so no need to purchase these ahead of time.
